HOW CAN I DRESS THE GROOM DIFFERENTLY TO THE USHERS, WITHOUT IT LOOKING MESSY?

Try a subtle change, like the waistcoat or cravat colour.  Jacket styles make a nice change too.  Or why not change the jacket colour? 

IM GETTING MARRIED ABROAD, DO I HAVE TO WEAR A JACKET?

No, its your wedding, wear what you want.  We hire single items, so should you just want a waistcoat or trousers then thats fine.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A BLACK TIE WHEN THE INVITE STATES BLACK TIE?

No, Black tie means a Tuxedo, Dress Shirt and Bow Tie is required. 

DO I HAVE TO DRESS THE GROOM THE SAME AS THE USHERS?

Not at all.  Although it is nice to have a uniformed look, its also nice for the Groom to stand out.  Dont forget its the Grooms day too.  

I WANT TAILS, DO I HAVE TO HAVE TOP HATS TOO?

No, Top hats are completely optional.

 DO YOU CATER FOR SAME SEX MARRIAGES?

Of course!  If youre in love and getting married, then we have a suit for you.

DO THE SUITS COME IN CHLDRENS SIZES?

Most of our styles are available in childrens sizes. Although we do have a couple of suits which are not yet available.  Please ring if you require more info on this subject.

IM GETTING MARRIED ON A SATURDAY, WHEN DO I COLLECT MY SUITS AND RETURN THEM?

Suits will be ready for you collect on Wednesday afternoon, and will need to be returned on Monday morning...job for the bestman maybe?

WHEN DO I PAY FOR THE SUITS?

A £20 deposit is required when placing the order, and the final balance is to be paid no later than your collection date.

DO YOU HIRE FOR WEDDINGS ABROAD? ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS?

Yes we do hire for weddings abroad.  The only extra charge is £10 per additional week, so a three week hire = cost + £20

MY BESTMAN CANT MAKE IT TO THE SHOP FOR A FITTING. WHAT CAN I DO?

We can suply you with a self measurement form.  With this information we can then prepare your suit.  Please note that with this information, Formal For You will not take any responsibility for the fit of the suit.  Although we will try our best to correct any errors, as best as we can.

MY BRIDESMAIDS ARE AN UNUSUAL COLOUR. CAN YOU MATCH IT?

We will try our best.  We have a large selection of colours in our accessories, but if we dont have the colour we can make them for you.  Just suply us with fabric and we'll get them made up for you to keep.  Please note there is a charge for this service.

 WE HAVE A LARGE WEDDING PARTY, SHALL I BRING THEM ALL AT ONCE OR ONE AT A TIME?

In our experience, it is always less stress for all, when smaller groups attend fittings.  If youd prefer for everyone to be fitted on the same day, then please book in for an appointment, spreading the men into small groups over a number of appointments.  Party members can pop into the shop alone if they prefer at their convenience, as all the wedding details will be kept on file.

WHAT ARE THE LARGEST AND SMALLEST SIZES YOU DO?

Our suits start at a 20" chest and at the moment our largest is a 56" chest.
